Brothers

 ‘Brothers’ is a ballad of two brothers falling out. It is an analogy for two states falling out. It reflects on good times past, at war now, and facing an uncertain future. One day, both countries will have to get along. In Hamburg, a sustained campaign of strategic bombing during World War II, during the last week of July 1943, code-named Operation Gomorrah, created an immense firestorm. It destroyed most of the city and killed an estimated 37,000 civilians and wounded 180,000 more.
