This is a fun activity to do with your child(ren). Make a bookmark and read with your child to encourage a lifelong love of books and reading. As children’s book author, Mary Pope Osborne says “Reading is the passport to many adventures”. As Barack Obama says it is also the “gateway to all other learning”. First, simply download the attached file and choose and print one or more of the four bookmarks. Print on good quality paper or card to make a more robust and enduring bookmark. Then trim the bookmark to size. The two full-colour bookmarks are ready to use. Alternatively, choose to colour-in the black-and-white bookmarks, and then write in your name.
