In Spid the Spider helps Out at Spidmas, Spid decorates his home, puts up a beautiful Spidmas tree, and places gifts underneath for all of his friends.
So with Christmas around the corner, you too can join in the fun with your children, and make a spider bell Christmas decoration.
What you need
2 jingle bells of different sizes for each spider (find these at haberdashery, craft or Christmas gift stores)
2 pipe cleaners, also called chenille or craft sticks
Tiny ribbons for bows
Either a hot glue gun to affix the head bell or thick glue that holds well!
What to do
1. First, cut the pipe cleaners into four parts
2. Push the pipe cleaners through the larger bell to make legs.
3. Fan the legs out and pull into position to resemble a spider.
4. Use a glue gun or thick glue to attach a smaller bell for the head.
5. Tie a ribbon around the legs close to the body and make a bow on top.
6. All’s done! So now you have your spider bell Christmas decoration, just sit down and enjoy reading and acting out Spid the Spider Helps Out at Spidmas!
