My Ukrainian Heart Will Remain

‘My Ukrainian Heart will Remain.’ This song is a powerful ballad that builds until a choral chorus emerges and grows the sense of emotion that inspires tears and admiration in equal measure. It is written with sadness and defiance in mind. Leandro Bastos sings his heart out with the English version, and Tymofii Lisov stirringly sings the Ukrainian version. Leandro’s vocals bring shivers down my spine. This is one of my favourite songs.
