These postcards of the seven wonders of the ancient world accompany the book Spid the Spider Visits the Seven Wonders of the World. They are designed to encourage children to research, imagine, think and write about the seven wonders, and then inspire further discussion. They are also useful for classroom display. Download PDFs of the postcards here.

Home or class work for children

After reading Spid the Spider Visits the Seven Wonders of the World, ask your children to choose one (or more) of the wonders to visit, and to write a postcard to a friend or family member at home! Perhaps imagining they are going on holiday to one of the places. Write about what you saw and what your favourite part was.
